The bobbin is made of a cotton laminate celluloid flat work used in the 1940's to make pickups.

With a hard wood core the Reed James P90 produces a tone that is amazing.

  You get that Fat, Pure P90 Tone for everything from dirty blues to raw hard rock... and even jazz.

 

These pickups are made with true vintage technology.
