 Formally the custom shop for  SPG Guitars, they have transformed into a new era of professionally crafted instruments built from the ground up. Under the guidance and marketing of Rick Welch, previous owner of Star Power / SPG Guitars. Eric(Eric C. Brown has been building guitars for over 20+ years and to date has built well over 1,000 guitars) and Rick have transformed New England Custom Guitars into a company they always felt was more tried and true to the nature of the guitar business... no overseas products, built with pride, local materials, built by a master luthier and a true players guitar finished product. They have upgraded their custom shop with some of the finest tools, equipment and materials and enhanced their product offerings unlike anything that was produced in their custom shop in the past.
